Giving Back To The Community

Want to know what seems kinda strange? I feel as though I've learned more in the past year and a half, than I have ever learned in the twelve years that I went to school. Have you felt that way? Granted, I did learn a lot during my school years. Math, science and music were definitely my most favorite subjects, but what did I actually learn from those? A bunch of "stuff" that's for sure. But, my prime in learning wasn't until after I dropped out of college. I originally went in for music, but after the first month, I realized that normal schooling just wasn't for me and that I wasn't even really going into music for myself anyways. But it was from that moment on, my life journey finally began and I was reborn into something new. I've finally realized how to be my own person. I learned so much about myself that I've never realized before. I feel like I've finally become aware of myself and my surroundings. And truthfully, It's an amazing experience. This wasn't all on my own though. The internet has definitely had a huge impact on my life. I was so stuck trying to figure myself out, but with the help of the lovely people on the internet, I learned how to look within myself and tap into my soul. And just with this year an a half alone, I feel as though I went through an entire lifetime.

But now that I had all these new experiences and knowledge, what was I suppose to do with it? This is where the title of this post comes in. Knowledge is power, but if it just sits in your head as a thought, then that is all it's ever going to be. Once you take so much, there comes a time when you have to return the favor. You've taken all this knowledge and experience, and now it's time to give back to the community.

This is why I blog. I've received so much in my life, that now I want to give back. I want to share my knowledge and experiences to the people who are in the positions I used to be in. I want to help. I want to make the world a better place for everyone.

If you think it is time for you to finally give back to the community, then my advise is to do so, with something that you love. Give back to the community by expressing your passion and uniqueness, whether its photography, painting, blogging, music, or whatever it is that you love. Our world needs more of that because I feel like a lot of people in this world aren't doing what they love. I love writing, so blogging is my way of giving back. The internet is a wonderful tool to connect with millions and millions of people around the world with so much information, so take advantage of that if you need to.

Our world needs more unique individuals. Be yourself. Be light. Just be. Share your love.
Thank you for listening to my ramble at the beginning of this post.
I love you all. Namasté <3
